On Monday January 31, we had a really great AMA with our friends at MaticNews ahead of the release of our PeachHub web app and our Polygon integration. Alex gave extensive details about our future plans and answered questions from the MaticNews community. Read on to see some of the highlights from the AMA.

Let’s start with your and your team’s introduction! Which are your past experiences and roles? How many members currently work on Peachfolio ?

Hi! I’m Alex, I’m the Content & Strategy Lead at Peachfolio. We started out as a group of friends who have been in crypto since 2014-2015. There are 11 on the team.
As most of us were into DeFi, and were investing in smaller tokens, we found it very frustrating that there was no solution to track everything we were investing in.
So we wanted to change that. We came together and started Peachfolio!

Wow! Very good team size to start a project, very nice to see that you are around in the space since that long time, this means experience.
Out of curiosity, why did you choose this name? Is there any backup story?
Alex Peachfolio
Haha, not really. We liked the sound of it and tried to find something original. When we were brainstorming to come up with a name, we went through a whole range of different names.
This was the one that we came back to again and again and that we all really liked.

About the tech! Please give us a brief introduction of the project and in which platforms are available!
Alex Peachfolio
Sure! So, we are creating the Peachfolio Ecosystem to enable investors to keep track of their wallets in real time. They can get in-depth market insights into their portfolio to enable them to trade with confidence.
We are creating a multi-platform environment. The Peachfolio smartphone app was released back in June 2021 on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It has been downloaded about 70000 times since then and is getting amazing ratings on both stores. You should check it out 🙂
You can track every single token ever created on the BSC and ETH chain, and in a few days on Polygon too!
We are releasing our web app, PeachHub, on February 3rd. PeachHub will integrate seamlessly with the smartphone app but will also offer a lot in addition to it. It will focus heavily on market analytics for instance, as well as on holders, liquidity, and social media sentiment.
We plan to deliver a set of tools that have never before been available to DeFi traders.

Excellent confirmations to hear, about polygon and especially about the PeachHub. I hope will have the amazing UI as in the mobile app.
Next, what are the use cases of $PCHF ? Where can we buy it?
Alex Peachfolio
Peachfolio is a free app, and most of its powerful tools are also free. However, we do lock certain features that require holding our token to access. You can find detailed information about it in our whitepaper and about our different tiers and their associated features. Each tier enables certain Pro features. We haven’t locked the app for now, but this will happen soon.
As for buying the PCHF token… PCHF is for sale on PancakeSwap and similar platforms, but we are looking at listing on exchanges too. The PancakeSwap link is on our website if your community members are interested in buying some tokens.

Just curious, do you have in plan to have the token available to other chains also?

This is definitely something that we’re interested in. We’re currently working on a plan for it, although I can’t reveal the details just yet.
If we decide that it’s viable and that it’s something our community and DeFi traders in general want, we will definitely consider it.

Thanks for the further explanation. Actually with the upcoming cross-chain swaps seems that we are going to be super multichain. That’s why I think that the EVM ecosystem it’s really another league.

My pleasure! So, as I said before, at this moment we have 2 major cornerstone products: The Peachfolio mobile app and our new web app, PeachHub.
The Peachfolio app is the only app that can track every BSC, ETH, and soon MATIC token in your portfolio. You can keep track of all your wallets and get in-depth insights for all of your tokens, even brand-new ones. You can also use it to rediscover long-forgotten tokens that have increased in value or find brand new gems to invest in on the Peachfolio app’s Daily Gainers list. It’s a really great way to see tokens that are hot right now.
About PeachHub. When it launches on Feb 3, PeachHub will give you cutting-edge data and analytics tools to supercharge your trading. You’ll get real-time data, charting, breaking news, and powerful analytics to give you unrivaled market coverage in one place. It’s really going to be a very unique platform.
An integrated ecosystem is something that’s really important to us. That’s why PeachHub also seamlessly integrates with the Peachfolio app. You’ll be able to get key information when you’re on the move and detailed analysis when you’re at your desk.
These two products will remain the center point of our ecosystem, but we will continue to grow and expand them in the next months and years.
In conjunction with this, we will gradually be introducing PeachAnalytics, so you have even more info to make the right trades. It’s a sophisticated analytics package that eliminates the tedious research that you currently need to make informed trades. It utilizes cutting-edge technology to aggregate data from a multitude of sources to provide a centralized platform that informs all of your trading decisions.
Next up is PeachLearn! It’s a platform to help people avoid getting scammed and prevent you from making bad trading decisions. It will give you all you need to improve your trading skills, help you understand how to use the advanced analytics tools in Peachfolio and PeachHub, and avoid dishonest projects. I know I could have used that in the past 🙂
We will also have our exciting PeachFinance part of our project implemented in both the smartphone and web app. PeachFinance will be massive. It will let you trade, store, and earn interest on your crypto assets. It will also include PeachWallet, a one-stop solution for access to live trading, a fiat-to-crypto exchange, stop losses and limit orders, sophisticated charting, and farming.
And finally, we will bring NFTs and gaming to Peachfolio, a platform where people can store and trade NFTs, view asset validation, track gaming earnings, manage in-game items, and much more.

Talking about the peachhub, what makes it unique?
Alex Peachfolio
So, basically, there aren’t many all-in solutions around. Peachfolio and PeachHub can track EVERY single token that is released on the BSC, ETH and Polygon chain. No need to ask devs to add certain tokens, we automatically track them ALL!
We plan to introduce even more chains very soon too, right after the Hub release.
You can set price alerts for every single token, track your reflections, and in the long run, you will be able to trade them in PeachWallet.
As for using the app… Adding your wallets to the app is easy! You just simply add your wallet address to the app. There’s no need for passwords, seed phrases, or complex connection steps because the app uses publicly available blockchain data. All of your data is stored locally on your device to ensure anonymity, making Peachfolio safe and secure to use.

Out of curiosity, Do you have in plan to support also NFTs and gaming?
Alex Peachfolio
Yes, but at the moment we think that realistically it will be for the end of this year. We have so many exciting products planned! Of course, our plans may change. If we feel we can meet a demand that DeFi users desperately need, we may move to develop a new product to meet that need earlier than expected.

Totally understand your answer. Actually, I asked about it because I see NFTs hype always growing, something that I never expected.

Very true! We believe the use cases for NFTs will continue to grow and surprise us all with the innovation.

Next is tokenomics! Which is yours and why did you choose it?
Alex Peachfolio
Our token has a transaction tax of 8%. 4% of that is redistributed to our holders, 2% goes to development and ongoing costs such as hosting and 2% goes to liquidity.

Simple and clear reflection. Nice redistribution for a passive income. Besides this, how is revenue being generated for the project itself that could be used on future development?

So, we have a few methods. We have a special area in the app for paid promotion of tokens. A token can be our so-called “Token of the moment” in the app with details of the project and a graphic. It also gets a mention in our Telegram and on our socials. We also have done AMAs with tokens in the past. PeachHub will also have room for ads, but we want to make them as less intrusive as possible. No big screaming banners everywhere!

Are you currently doing AMAs only with BSC tokens or also Polygon?

This is something we’ll have to discuss. We would be open to any projects on chains we support, I imagine.

Talking about the security side, the clichè question that we ask in all AMAs: are there any KYC or audit done?
Alex Peachfolio
We have had a TechRate audit, and others are coming. Some of the team have doxxed completely, others haven’t so far, mainly because of professional or personal reasons.
We understand this is important to people, but if you have been building something like Peachfolio, we like to say: “the proof is in the pudding”. We believe the products speak for themselves

So, for the PeachHub launch, we’ve been in contact with Polygon almost on a daily basis, which has been fantastic. We appreciate their support so much!

We have also partnered with projects such as Hodooi, LaunchBlock, Save Planet Earth, and Octaplex Network.
