Welcome to the second in our series of developer updates that we’ll be posting every few weeks. This is the place to keep up to date with the latest Peachfolio app developments and news about new features.
You may have noticed on our Telegram or Twitter that the exciting developments have just kept coming for TeamPeach. Last month was all about the beta version of our app and the Peachfolio token.
This month, we talk partnerships, getting noticed by the Altcoin world, and of course – app store launches!
Where we stand: Peaches keep growing!
Here at Peachfolio HQ, we’ve watched with great enthusiasm this month at how our community and reputation has continued to grow. We’ve seen our name start to get mentioned regularly on social media whenever people talk about tracking DeFi tokens. What makes us really happy is to see how positive the conversation always is!
When we crunched the numbers, we saw that we have 5000 downloads of the Peachfolio beta app from our website so far.
Astonishingly, 1000 of those downloads came in the last week! It’s clear that more and more people are hearing about Peachfolio, trying it out, and telling even more people!
It’s important to keep in mind that these numbers only constitute downloads of our beta app from our site, with our app yet to be published in app stores. More about that later 😉
Where we’re going, part I: Partnerships
The last few weeks also saw another exciting development as part of our roadmap. We create our first partnership with DogeBack, a project based around a token that gives dividend yield in Doge to its holders.
As our first foray into working with a partner, we were extremely keen to do everything we could to make sure it was a success. We carefully selected DogeBack after lengthy discussions with their team; a full appraisal of their expertise and experience in DeFi; and checking out their social media channels to get a feel for how they interact with their community.
We’re delighted to be able to say that the partnership has given a huge boost to both communities. We saw huge enthusiasm everywhere when we announced the partnership, and it was quickly followed by a new post-launch ATH for the Peachfolio token.
We expanded our collaboration with DogeBack further with a joint AMA held in the DogeBack Telegram group. We were met with enthusiasm and some great questions, along with the best feedback possible – people telling us they were using the app and loving it!
The partnership with DogeBack also brought us both an unexpected boost that we could never have imagined…
Where we’re going, part II: Getting noticed
We really didn’t see this coming 🙂
Last week, our partners DogeBack got some love on Twitter from Shibetoshi Nakamoto/Billy Markus, the founder of DogeCoin. Understandably, the DogeBack community went wild over getting noticed by such a prominent leader in the Altcoin world. You can check out their conversation here.
But even better was to come. Thanks to our partner’s mentioning us, the Peachfolio team also got involved! We chatted to Shibetoshi about rugchecking, our app’s great features, and the great new features to come. Check it out here.
Where we’re going, part II: The wait is nearly over
So – down to the real news in the Peachfolio world.
While we’ve been delighted with the 5000 downloads our app has generated so far from our website, we’ve been keenly aware that so many of our community have not been able to use it yet. In particular, our iOS users have been watching our amazing videos and been eagerly waiting to try it out for themselves.
We’re happy to be able to tell you that: the wait is nearly over.
In the next two weeks, you’ll be able to download our app from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Want to be the first to try it? Keep an eye on our Telegram and Twitter accounts – we’ll be announcing the exact dates there soon!
